As soon as I turned down the driveway, a magical tunnel of rose apple trees, I knew this was going to be a special place. Shangri-lei is in the perfect location, removed and quite with a beautiful ocean view, yet just 5 minutes from the water. Eve and Jamie are full of helpful tips on the best places to go and how to get there. Eve makes beautiful breakfasts and Jamie makes top-notch cocktails at sunset, don't miss out! Each room is unique and very comfortable as well, I even stayed in the tent! Don't let the word tent fool you, it is like staying in a luxury safari tent amidst tropical trees and plants. It has windows all around so you feel immersed in lush greenery. The "bamboo" room has an amazing view of the ocean and the room with the California king bed is nice and spacious. Each has their own big flat screen tv, if you are one of those people who needs to fall asleep to the television. The house is gorgeous as well, it is the previous personal home of a famous architect, Lucky Bennett. Every person should get a chance to stay in such a unique and enchanting slice of paradise.
