We can't recommend this place enough. Finding this gem was one of the highlights of our trip to the big island. General Manager Bill was so enthusiastic about teaching everyone about the coffee picking and processing process while making sure to be inclusive to everyone in the tour. Even making sure to greet and include those who arrived halfway through. If I could, I would give this place an even higher rating. It's not often that customer service is done this well and it should put this place in the stratosphere of experiences.
Bill also gave amazing recommendations on places to eat and see around the island, so be sure to visit early in your trip.
Bill, General Manager at Heavenly Hawaiian Kona Coffee is extremely passionate & knowledgeable about Coffee farming. He himself showed us the farm and various activities there. He was gracious to give us free avocados and oranges as well in addition to coffee tasting. This coffee plantation tour is free as against few others in the area. Must visit while in the area.
The farm offers shipping for your souvenirs, which is such a wonderful service.
Their grounds also have guava and avocado trees that they let you harvest and take with you! Great views and free samples at the end of the tour/experience were icing on the cake.
Chase was absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!! We can't thank him enough for the FABULOUS tour and his exceptional knowledge about coffee from planting a seed to cup! Lil hidden gem I will tell everyone about!
This was a highlight of our trip! Bill was so accommodating and willing to give us a tour even though the weather was not great. He showed us the entire coffee making process and treated us to a cup of coffee on the lanai. The shop has everything you could want to buy, including truly amazing coffee brittle.
