It's worth the drive here, even if you are not into coffee or tea. You drive through several coffee "farms" for Buddha and other growers on the way up. There is an abundance of wildlife (birds, turkeys, chickens, but no goats), and parrots and very lazy, but tame and friendly, cute rescue dogs at the visitor center. A couple of beautiful painted eucalyptus trees can be seen just before you turn into the parking area. The tasting room operation is better than most, and of course they have things other than coffee for sale that they grow or make (honey, tea, rum cake). If you want to see what a REAL, albeit small, coffee farm looks like, this is the place to go. And, it probably needs to be added (for the casual reader and coffee uneducated): they sell ONLY 100% Kona coffee. The Real Deal!
Nancy gave us a tour of the farm, AMAZING!
Great coffee - We sampled their recommended selection of coffee and tea. Highly recommend their Buddha's Cup Estate Med/Dark Roast.
Super friendly staff - We took a coffee tour here and it was totally worth it. We got all sorts of free fruits straight from the source during our tours as well.
It's worth the drive up.
This is a beautiful place to visit if you are ever around i recommend you stop by for a tour
This farm is a MUST stop! Finally a farm that makes the coffee for you on the spot, fresh coffee. They have a unique selection.
Nancy gave us a great tour! I'm not a huge coffee drinker my husband is but we both enjoyed the experience. Bought a few as bags of coffee as gifts and now we are ordering more online. They also have tea, honey & rum cake.
This place should be on your must stop list ;)
