A historic gift shop run by a fourth generation Japanese American family. Very friendly and attentive service. We went to look for a hat for me. Couldn't find one that fit. A very good selection of straw and Panama hats. My wife bought wooden salad servers and bamboo place mats.
Well worth a stop!

Best place to have a Lauhala hat made by true artisans. They will measure and make your custom made hat you will be proud to wear.
My husband and I drove up from Kona at the suggestion of my friend Chari, whose Hawaiian and brought a handbag from the shop to work. They are so unique, woven and fully hand lined in Hawaiian prints, with a zip center compartment and bamboo handles. The free coffee pea berries for a sample are delish if they still have them. Go visit, it's real Hawaii.
