Amazing art!!!
This is a wonderful gallery. The gallery features the work of master printmaker Horoki Morinoue who is renowned for his beautiful moku hanga wood block prints. On first Friday's it is not uncommon to be able to watch Hiroki kneeling on the floor as he makes the traditional Japanese style water based prints. He hand rubs each print with a baren. Multiple layers of color are added each one using a separate hand carved wood block. It's quite impressive. His lovely wife Setsuko gives informational and often humorous anecdotes about the individual artworks in the gallery. She is a master potter and a few of her pieces are also on display.
